This means you can create your own pirate ship with treasure chests, construct a submarine for exploring underwater or build an airship to fly around your lands from above. Oh, I'm sure it's been played and sold a lot - like you said, they wouldn't have made sequels if it weren't profitable. But I have yet to find anyone else who has played or bought it. And that's including on the interweb tubes. Addition: Anachronox was so much fun.

Championship Manager series (pre-2005), Football Manager series (post-2005) Incredibly addictive yet simple (for many years it was completely text-based) football management simulation. I urge you to try it because not since Tetris has a series been this addictive. Cultures 2: The Gates of Asgard Hybrid of traditional RTS and Sims-style human placation. It is great fun, the campaign and scenarios are often very different from the traditional 'go here and kill everything' you come to expect. Lego Racers Perfected the car creation concept, well-designed tracks that hide the N64-era graphics well, sadly the development team were either not given enough time or money because halfway through they stopped designing tracks (the second half of the game recycles the first half) and the multiplayer is not worth talking about.

As it stands, an enjoyable stab at defeating Mario Kart. Sonic Battle (GBA) I found it quite fun, actually. I liked the concept of creating a perfect fighter out of bits of old ones. Okay so the plot was just an excuse to make you try out all the different characters, and I never finished it because I was useless with Sonic, but I think it worked well (although perhaps it was too easy to run away.). Addition: Anachronox was so much fun. I'd love to see those sequels. There's a difference between Playing and Buying. Heck I didn't even own a NES or SNES but friends did so I've played a whoooole lot of games on those.
