Dave: Sounds like you can use most any kind of software to transmit the file from your PC. Windows comes with HyperTerminal, and that should work OK. Older versions of Windows came with a simple Terminal program also.

You'll have to set Hyperterminal to match the baudrate and the stop-bits setting in the CNC, then transmit your file using a simple protocol like 'Xon/Xoff' or 'RTS/CTS'. Either one should work on the Deckel. Deckel may have requirements for 'data format' in the manual. Sometimes a CNC needs to see a particular character first (like maybe a percent sign) before it will read the data.
